Chop the leaf and the stem separately. Heat the pan pour the oil in it. Now add the chopped onions in the oil. Stir well for 3 minutes. Put 2 tsp chilly powder and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, stir well for 2 minutes. Add chopped stem into this mixture and pour 1 cup of water and add salt to taste. Close with a lid until the stem get cooked.
Once the stem is cooked add the chopped leaves and mix well. Again close with a lid for 5 minutes. You can serve it with chapatti, roti or with plain rice.
